SMS & WhatsApp Communication Consent

1. How Members Are Added

Jumpseat is a strictly invite-only platform. Members cannot self-register. Every member is:

Personally invited by the platform administrator
Manually added to the platform with their name, email address, and mobile phone number
Required to authenticate and agree to the platform Terms of Service upon first login
Informed at the time of invitation that they will receive SMS and WhatsApp notifications related to their account

2. The Opt-In Process

Consent is collected through the following sequential steps:

1Personal Invitation — The administrator contacts the prospective member directly via WhatsApp or email and explains the platform and its communication methods.

2Manual Registration — The administrator adds the member's name, email, and mobile phone number to the platform via the admin panel. The member's phone number is only added with their explicit consent.

3First Login Agreement — Upon first login at jumpseat.invitational.club, the member is presented with the platform's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Access to the platform requires acknowledgment of these documents.

4Profile Confirmation — Members can view and update their mobile number on their profile page at any time. Removing their number from their profile opts them out of SMS communications.

3. Types of Messages Sent

Members receive SMS and WhatsApp messages only for the following purposes:

2FA / Authentication One-time login codes sent when a member requests WhatsApp-based authentication
Flight Alerts Notifications when an AI match is found between a member's flight request and an available seat
Seat Requests Notifications when another member requests a seat on their posted flight
Booking Confirmations Notifications when a seat request is approved or declined
Flight Updates Time-sensitive updates about confirmed flights

No marketing messages, promotional content, or third-party communications are ever sent.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on platform activity. Members who actively post flights or request seats may receive up to 5-10 messages per week during active coordination periods. Members who are not actively using the platform may receive no messages for extended periods.

5. Opt-Out Instructions

Members may opt out of SMS and WhatsApp communications at any time by:

Replying STOP to any message received from the platform
Removing their mobile number from their profile at jumpseat.invitational.club/profile
Contacting the administrator directly at [email protected]

Opting out of SMS does not affect platform access or email notifications.

6. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on the member's mobile carrier plan. Jumpseat does not charge members for SMS or WhatsApp messages.
